ENTRANCE PROCEDURE: Our main entry points are at either 3+ into our nursery, Little Vic, or 4+ into Reception. Early registrati­on is advisable, and places are offered by date of registrati­on.

Places higher up the school are offered after girls have spent a morning with us when they will be assessed in Maths and English.

School philosophy: The school in the ‘castle’ on Richmond Hill. A special place with a unique blend of traditiona­l education and a modern, outward-looking approach to nurturing creative, confident and ambitious girls who are wellprepar­ed for life beyond in the wider world. Combining the best specialist teaching for girls aged 3-11 in classes of 15 or less, with a diverse range of sports and outdoor activities to enjoy.

We teach the girls that there are no limits in what they can achieve. As they journey through the school, they continue to be challenged in all areas; being ambitious and aiming high is embedded into the ethos of the school.

Academic record: Old Vicarage School Class of 2023 comprised of 30 girls going onto 14 different schools gaining an impressive 11 scholarshi­ps.

Extra-curricular: Sports including netball, football and cricket with local and national competitio­n. Weekly swimming lessons for all. New Performing Arts Wing. Art and DT with textiles, ceramics and design using 3D printers. A host of extra-curricular clubs from Music Technology to Debating to Yoga and Mindfulnes­s.
