ON THE ROAD AGAIN WITH ROB AND STEVE…

The channel and country may have changed, but the job remains the same: Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon reunite for a third series of their improvised foodie travelogue, meandering through Spain in the footsteps of writer Laurie Lee.

“It’s probably harder work than it looks,” Rob points out. “I imagine it looks like a jolly, but there is pressure. In most acting jobs, even if you’re the lead, there are scenes in which you are not the main thing – but in this, it’s basically us all the time!”

“It’s enjoyable, but you do have to apply yourself,” adds Steve. “You have more scope here than in a normal scripted film where you always have to stick with what you’re doing. Rob and I really trust each other, so if he goes off on a tangent I’ll follow him, or he’ll follow me, so it’s a lot of fun.”
