WHICH FACTION WILL TRIUMPH IN THE SEASON SEVEN FINALE?
The struggle for survival has been even more intense this season on The Walking Dead, as Rick and his crew realise that the human race can pose as much of a threat as the undead. This week’s finale is sure to be nerveshredding stuff, so we caught up with the cast to seek out some teasers.
“I think the finale is going to be a nice payoff,” hints Josh Mcdermitt, who plays Eugene. “Sometimes fans might get upset about how slow things are moving, and I get it, but if you look at this season as a whole, it could go down as one of the best seasons that the show has done because of the trajectory of the story. I think you’re going to be very happy with the finale!”
Watching the show can be a terrifying experience, and we were curious to find out if the cast are ever spooked by the things they see around them on set.
“The zombies, for me,” reveals Austin Amelio, who plays Dwight. “It’s strange when you go to lunch and 15 zombies walk in.”
“They’re so real-looking,” agrees Tom Payne, who plays Jesus. “The special effects team do an incredible job. They’re always coming up with new designs and different kinds of walkers – and they all look horrible! I take my hat off to the guys and girls who play them, because it’s incredibly hot in Atlanta [where the show is filmed] and they’re wearing bodysuits – that’s tough!”
