Missing in action

Kate returns to Blackthorn Prison to speak to Michael Farmer again tonight, in the hope that he might have some fresh information about ‘Balaclava Man’.

Her persistence pays off when she learns that in Michael’s initial interview, he inadvertently gave the wrong name of the hospital he was admitted to – meaning that he may have a valid alibi after all.

Kate’s colleague is unhappy about her continued interference and tries to make Roz aware of it – but Roz hasn’t showed up for work yet, and no one seems to know where she is…

As ever with Line Of Duty, it’s terribly difficult to preview an episode without giving away some massive spoilers, but we have good news for fans of precise procedural dialogue: there’s a hefty and satisfying interview scene tonight clocking in at over 11 minutes.
