A CHRISTINE COMEBACK?

Eastenders missed a trick with the Cokers –

the rest of Walford never got to meet Les’ female persona, Christine. That’s something Roger hoped he’d have the chance to play out – and still hopes may come in the future.

“I’ve amused myself thinking about how the scene where Christine walks into the Vic would go,” he laughs. “It would be a cracker! I’m not sure it will ever happen, but I’d be interested to go back and find out. And despite the fact we never saw Pam and Christine out for the evening together, it was a distinct possibility when they left for Worthing.”

Roger and Lin wouldn’t have any problem fitting back into the show, since they both keep up with it.

“I’m always interested in what’s going on,” says Roger. “There are great storylines. I dip in and out, and Lin and I talk about it. I liked the story with Denise giving up her baby. Diane Parish is just fantastic.”
