Many of us have been tempted by the possibility of making a drastic change and embarking on a new life, but for various reasons – both practical and emotional – have never acted upon that urge.

However, in this new six-part series from the makers of The

Real Marigold Hotel, a group of 10 strangers take on the potential opportunity of a lifetime by moving to Italy and taking over a Tuscan farm. It’s an alluring prospect, but also seriously hard work: running the farm means maintaining a 250-acre estate, including a 13-acre vineyard and five acres of olive trees, as well as a B&B.

One of the group asks an important question early on: “Can anybody speak Italian?”. The answer, unfortunately, is no, and that’s far from the only problem that lies ahead…
