Gogglebox’s Reverend Kate Bottley supervises this intriguing one-off show (that we dare say has potential to become a series) where engaged couples prepare for married life by spending a few days living alone with their partner’s parents.

The participants for this pilot are Chris and Stacey from Bristol, who won’t be speaking to each other for the duration of the project. Chris divides his time between Stacey’s divorced parents and finding out more about why their marriage didn’t work out, while Stacey stays with Chris’s parents, who are still together after 35 years.

During the time spent with their future in-laws, both Chris and Stacey come to some important realisations about their own relationship – but will it change their feelings about getting married?
