Sally’s troll hell continues…

TIM THINKS HE’S FOUND HER ENEMY – BUT IS HE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE?

- Kate White

Tim is determined to put an end to this once and for all”

Terrified Sally is subjected to more hateful threats by her troll this week, as her family try desperately to work out her tormentor’s identity.

After the incident where Sally was tricked into believing her breast cancer had returned via a sick prank phone call, her husband Tim demanded she come off social media. Given her pivotal role at the council, however, Sally feels she must be online, and thus reactivates her accounts. But shortly after she does, she receives a text to tell her to look at the day’s edition of the Weatherfield

Gazette – and she’s stunned by what she reads…

“Sally’s obituary has been published,” gasps our Street insider. “Can you even imagine how horrifying that is for her? Her troll has taken it up a notch, and Sally has no idea what their next move might be. Then, when she gets home, there’s a mysterious parcel waiting for her – and the contents are disgusting!”

All of this trauma is taking its toll on Sally, despite her tough-talking political facade. Tim is hell-bent on getting to the bottom of the nasty situation and exposing the person behind the malicious campaign. He also thinks there are ways that Sally can help herself, too – stepping down from the council and coming off social media for good.

However, the next day, Sally decides to stand strong, and heads off to deliver a speech on LGBTQI rights. Tim is beside himself with anxiety that this will be the event at which Sally’s troll physically attacks her, so he spends his time surveying the crowd intently. When he spots a suspicious-looking woman breaking away from the crowd to use her phone, he acts…

“Tim strikes like a ninja!” declares our informant. “He’s not going to allow the troll

to get away, and he’s determined to put an end to this once and for all. It doesn’t matter what this woman says, Tim is certain that he’s caught the culprit red-handed – and he stamps on her phone until it’s destroyed! For the first time, he feels as though he’s taken back some power in this scary situation.”

But is Tim making a huge error by acting first and thinking later?
