Aidan & Maria back on?
THE PAIR SHARE A CHARGED MOMENT…
Maria hatches a plan to get one over on Aidan this week – but it’s clear that the chemistry between them is as strong as ever!
The former lovers have stayed out of each other’s way since she was released from prison – and this has been made easier by Maria’s parole curfew.
Instead, the jailbird hairdresser has spent most of her time hanging out with her pal David, and it turns out that Aidan is just as gullible as Gail. He too is convinced that David and Maria are an item!
Womanising Aidan hasn’t been putting enough effort into his own relationship, so his attention flits back to his ex-mistress when he interrogates David about his ‘relationship’ with Maria. This prompts the lad to repeat Aidan’s questions back to Maria, and he later comes up with a plan after learning that Eva is refusing to join her boyfriend at a business lunch.
“David tells Aidan that he should take Maria as his date instead – and naturally she’s horrified!” laughs our Corrie insider. “She doesn’t want to be anywhere near a bloke who’s messed her around so much. But when David points out that she’d be free to take advantage of the situation, Maria decides to have some fun at Aidan’s expense…”
After agreeing to accompany him – and with Aidan in no position to refuse her – Maria cheekily poses as Eva and relishes in sharing an array of hysterical stories about him to her audience. Having been totally embarrassed in front of his crowd, the businessman furiously orders Maria to leave. But without a car, it’s doubtful as to whether she’ll make it home before her curfew!
Realising he may have left Maria facing big trouble,
Aidan catches up with her and offers her a lift. After a race against the clock, the duo return just in the nick of time! And with a mix of adrenalin and strong sexual tension in the air, will Aidan and Maria be able to resist each other any longer?
“Even though Maria is no saint in this situation, she’s been outraged by the way Aidan has treated her,” explains
“Maria will have to accept that she’s the other woman!”

Aidan was adamant that he wouldn’t leave Eva then, and even though their relationship is not in a great place at the moment, it seems unlikely that he’ll leave her now either. If Maria still wants him, she’ll have to accept that she’ll always be the other woman…”
