We’re getting married!

PHOEBE SAYS YES TO JUSTIN…

There are celebrations in Summer Bay this week, as Phoebe and Justin announce their engagement – but as you’d expect, there are plenty of hiccups along the way!

Following on from Justin’s spontaneous proposal, Phoebe initially turns him down flat, asserting that she’s not the marrying kind. So has Justin really thought this through?

“Justin’s never felt like this about a girl,” admits James Stewart, who plays the lovedup fella. “He hasn’t stayed with one girl for as long as he’s been with Phoebe, and it’s great as she gets on with his family.

It’s like he can hear Beyoncé singing, ‘Put a ring on it’!”

Given the strength of his feelings, Justin is left hurt and humiliated when Phoebe says no to getting hitched. But while she freaks out about what’s just happened, Justin sticks to his guns – and tells her that it’s all or nothing for him…

“Justin knows how he feels, but putting it into words is hard,” explains James. “So when he finally does, it’s straight up and from the heart.”

Faced with Justin’s raw emotion, Phoebe realises what a fool she’s been and agrees to be his wife! It’s clear from the picture below that they’re over the moon – and James says they’re not alone.

“My daughter Scout thinks Justin and Phoebe make a cute couple,” chuckles the actor, who’s rumoured to be dating his co-star Isabella Giovinazzo [Phoebe]. “An onscreen wedding would be cool – I’d like to see Isabella walk down the aisle in a beautiful wedding dress. I don’t think I’d be able to breathe properly!”
