Will Maxine marry Adam?

It should be the happiest day of her life – but Maxine doesn’t look too thrilled as she arrives at her wedding to Adam Donovan!
After enduring a marriage to first husband Patrick Blake that was marred by violence, Maxine couldn’t believe her luck when she met kindhearted Adam and he asked her to be his wife. But while she may have finally met her Prince Charming, she also has to contend with his wicked witch of a former fiancée, Darcy! So will Adam’s exflame ensure that Maxine’s big day ends in misery?
“Adam has made it perfectly clear that his heart lies with Maxine, but conniving Darcy won’t take no for an answer!” splutters our snoop. “She wants Adam back, and she’s willing to do everything in her power to make that happen. Sadly, Maxine is far too lovely to be a match for someone as twisted as Darcy!”
In the run-up to the wedding, Adam’s wicked ex has been doing everything she can to put the kibosh on Maxine’s big day – including ruining her wedding dress! Poor Maxine was beside herself after Darcy blamed her young son Toby for the ‘accident’, but the beleaguered bride-to-be finally has something to smile about this week when her pals Nancy and Neeta present her with a gorgeous new frock.
However, Maxine’s joy won’t last long if Darcy has anything to do with it. Jesse ropes her in to helping out with Adam’s stag do after the stripper cancels at the last minute, and Darcy comes up with a novel solution to the problem – by stripping for the lads herself!
Poor Adam is mortified when he realises what’s going on, and rushes out of the party in a flustered state. However, Darcy is hot on his tail, and it’s not long before the pair are sharing a passionate kiss. So what will this mean for poor Maxine and her dream of being Mrs Donovan?
“As you can see from the pictures, Adam and Maxine both make it to the wedding the following day,” teases our mole. “However, with Darcy also there – and clearly eager for the celebrant to ask if there are any objections to the marriage going ahead – it doesn’t look as though the ceremony will run smoothly! And judging by that angry look on Maxine’s face, she’ll have a thing or two to say to her man about forsaking all others!”
Whether or not Maxine will officially become Adam’s wife remains to be seen. But even if she does, you can be sure that Darcy isn’t ready to concede defeat just yet…
