Fall and Apple Tree Yard) gets a long overdue leading role on TV in this dark – in every sense, seriously, these people do not turn their lights on – three-part thriller. She plays the role of chemistry teacher Paula, who has a chance encounter with a stranger (Victoria’s Tom Hughes) when she asks him to help get rid of a vermin problem in her house.

One thing leads to another, and the two of them end up having a one-night stand. This moment of impulsive behaviour leads to a number of serious consequences – bad news for them, but good news for us because this is a gripping and complex tale, and we’re looking forward to watching it unravel.
