Comedian Tom Binns picks his dream viewing…

-

I really love Line

Of Duty. I saw the first two series on Netflix and I ended up buying the third. And then the new series was just on proper telly, so I’m going to watch that the minute this interview is over! It’s a great show. I watch a lot of box-sets of

American shows. I really enjoyed the first season of Homeland and

I kept watching it, hoping it would be as good as the first season again. Billions is great as well, and I love Suits and

Narcos. Of all the ones I’ve mentioned, Narcos was probably my favourite.

My favourite comedy is Modern

Family, which is a sitcom in the style of a fly-on-the-wall documentary, like Hospital People. At the moment I’m watching

the movie Trolls on a loop because my two-year-old is Trolls mad – but

it’s so good! I watched Trolls around the same time that I watched La La Land, and it’s a much better musical – it beats La La Land hands down.

Cheers was my favourite show

growing up. It’s such a funny show, and I’ve watched some of it more recently, and it hasn’t got old – it’s brilliant. And my grandfather used to watch The Morecambe & Wise Show, and he would literally fall off the sofa and start beating the floor with his fists, laughing – that’s how much he loved it.
