Lydia to lodge at Laurel’s?

As Sam and Lydia’s romance hots up again this week, Sam devises a plan to get his new lady friend living locally.

With Lydia having secured herself two cleaning jobs in the village, and with no one at home for company since Steve the cockatoo made his tragic bid for freedom, Sam reckons it makes sense for her to move closer.

But when he asks Laurel – for whom Lydia has been providing bereavement counselling – whether she’d consider taking in Lydia as a lodger, will she agree?
