Steven stalks his own girlfriend

INCREASINGLY PARANOID STEVEN REFUSES TO LET HIS PARTNER OUT OF HIS SIGHT…

- Allison Jones

Obsessive Steven goes to ever more desperate lengths to keep track of his girlfriend Lauren this week.

With his hopes of a quiet family life with Lauren in tatters thanks to her exciting new job at Weyland & Co, Steven hates his girlfriend spending so much time away from him. He’s already behaving erratically in a bid to keep her near – but when Abi fuels his paranoia by suggesting that Lauren isn’t where she’s told him she is, Steven concocts a creepy new plan to keep her in check…

“There no limit to Steven’s strange behaviour!” tuts our Walford sneak. “He’s already poking holes in condoms in the hope that Lauren will ‘accidentally’ fall pregnant, when she’s made it clear that having another kid is the last thing she wants. He doesn’t know that Lauren and her boss Josh have kissed – and heaven help her if he finds out!”

Meeting Lauren’s handsome colleague did nothing to settle Steven’s nerves. So when Abi starts stirring by questioning whether Lauren is being honest regarding her whereabouts, he’s beside himself. But after working out that he can track Lauren’s movements with the help of a handy phone app, Steven is soon hot on his oblivious partner’s trail…

“It doesn’t matter if Lauren is gadding about in Canary Wharf while Steven seethes at home in Albert Square – now he can keep tabs on where she is at all times,” groans our informant. “This just adds to the long list of things that would horrify Lauren if she knew about them, and it’s the perfect way for Steven to tighten his grip on her from the comfort of his very own front room!”

that very front room not long after Steven has activated his new stalker app. He’s in the midst of preparing her a romantic meal when Josh brings Lauren home from work when she’s taken ill. And it turns out that three is most definitely a crowd…

“Lauren’s under the weather, but she still has a pile of work to do with Josh,” shares our spy. “While they try to discuss business, Steven just won’t take the hint. He’s determined to get involved – and ends up suggesting that Josh could stay for dinner. The looks on their faces say it all!”

As he refuses to take no for an answer, Steven steadfastly ignores Lauren’s embarrassed reaction. But in the wake of all his meddling and sinister invasions of Lauren’s privacy, is the evening about to take another unexpected turn?
