This is the moment thrilled Stacey and Martin see baby Fowler for the first time! The proud parents have joy written across their faces as they visit the hospital for Stacey’s first ultrasound, and are shown their little bundle of joy on a monitor…

The couple have been keeping the news of Stacey’s pregnancy a secret since finding out earlier this year – but with their first scan out of the way, they can finally begin to start telling more people. However, Stacey is uneasy as she worries how their friends and loved ones will react to their announcement. Would they really be anything but over the moon for her?
It’s no secret that Martin’s missus was diagnosed with postpartum psychosis after she had Arthur. The illness is a rare psychiatric condition that can cause some mothers to experience paranoia, hallucinations and delusions following the birth of their child – and for poor Stacey, this was only heightened by her pre-existing bipolar disorder.
Martin was at his wits’ end attempting to care for Stacey, before she eventually found herself teetering dangerously on the edge of the Queen Vic roof – and it was clear that she needed professional help. With that, Stacey ended up being admitted to a mental health facility, where she spent several months recovering.
