Double trouble for Aidan!

Love rat Aidan discovers having two women on tap is tougher than he thought this week – as his girlfriend Eva and mistress Maria demand his attentions.
Somehow, the cheat has convinced Maria to continue seeing him behind Eva’s back, and believes he can keep them both sweet as he leads a double life. But Aidan hasn’t taken into account just how much of his attention they both require…
“Aidan really is a scumbag!” laughs our Corrie insider. “He’s toying with the emotions of two girls who truly love him – it’s utterly selfish. The trouble is, keeping up with his duties isn’t as easy as Aidan thought. He has a cheeky afternoon in bed with Maria, then arrives home to find Eva in a sexy basque waiting for him. Some would say he’s living the dream – but Aidan’s knackered!”
Sadly for Eva, she’s still determined to become Mrs Connor. Having tried to get her man to propose for ages, she has a brainwave this week as Jenny invites a jeweller to the Rovers to go through wedding ring options. Eva believes if she can get Aidan there too, he might make an engagement ring purchase on the spur of the moment.
If only she knew that Aidan isn’t a one-woman man!
Instead, when Aidan works out what Eva’s engagement plan is the next day, he does something awful – rather than buy his girlfriend a ring, Aidan asks the jeweller to sell him an ankle bracelet for Maria.
“And they say romance is dead!” smirks our spy. “Aidan has bought this ankle bracelet for Maria because she’s going to have her tag removed on the very same day. She’s so smitten with him that Maria thinks this is all very sweet. But while Maria is touched by his gesture, Eva is seriously disappointed.”
Fed up with Aidan’s stalling, Eva seeks advice from his dad, Johnny. It’s Johnny who knows what
Aidan has an afternoon in bed with Maria, then arrives home to find Eva in a sexy basque!”
Aidan and Maria have been up to, and he’s firmly Team Eva. So, in a bid to hurry along a potential wedding, he suggests that Eva take the bull by the horns and propose herself. Is Eva ready to ask Aidan to marry her, and how will he respond?
