Is Tom set to be the new psycho of Walford?

Life for Michelle Fowler was starting to feel too good to be true after she bagged a new job and a nice fella to boot.

‘Nosebleed man’ Tom appeared to be just what Chelle needed to make a fresh start, following their charming date together recently. However, his true colours were soon revealed as viewers saw the creep taking pictures of the Mitchell house – where Michelle is living – before losing his rag with a random passer-by when they accidentally bumped into him. So is Michelle set to find herself in terrible danger with this volatile man?

“It’s fair to assume so,” despairs our Eastenders spy. “After her disastrous affair with 17-year-old Preston, and the breakdown of her marriage to Tim, Michelle is thrilled to have met someone who seems so normal. But it seems that beneath the surface lies a swine!”

Walford boss Sean O’connor produced The Archers before moving to Eastenders, so we’ve immediately drawn comparisons between this plot and one of his hugely successful stories from the BBC Radio 4 drama.

Listeners were gripped by the events that unfolded between Helen and Rob – the latter of whom seemed like the perfect man, before he turned out to be a manipulative monster. Helen ended up stabbing Rob to escape from his evil clutches, so is Michelle destined for similar drama?
