Mark: which beauty will he pick?
SCOTT MCGREGOR SPILLS THE BEANS ON MARK’S LATEST ROMANCE ON RAMSAY STREET…
We can’t think of a better way to spend a sunny afternoon than wine tasting in the countryside with Hunky Mark Brennan – so Elly is living our dream this week when she whisks him away from Ramsay Street for a few hours of fun at a local winery! And as we catch up with actor Scott Mcgregor, he tells us that he was over the moon after he found out where they would be shooting these scenes…
“We filmed in the Yarra Valley, which is one of the most beautiful spots in Victoria,” grins the star. “All the cast and crew really enjoy shooting on location. It was such a picturesque setting, and it’s the perfect opportunity for something to develop between Elly and Mark.”
But Elly’s not the only lucky lady on Mark’s radar right now – as the
week kicks off, he’s hoping that he and ex-fiancée Paige can rekindle their relationship. But it seems the new mum is not as keen on the idea as Mark is.
“Mark went to Queensland to surprise Paige, who was up there visiting Brad and Lauren,” explains Scott. “He instantly felt different when he was around Paige; he experienced emotions that he hadn’t had in a long while. He got caught up in the moment and kissed Paige – but unfortunately, she was confused by it all and didn’t think it was a good idea.”
After Mark lays his heart on the line and tells Paige how he feels this week, he’s left upset when she admits they’re better off as just friends. However, things start looking up for the fella later in the week as Paige gives Elly two tickets to a wine-tasting afternoon – and Elly decides to invite Mark along as her plus-one.
“It’s not really a date, they go as friends,” says Scott. “But the more time they spend with each other, the more chemistry is developing between them.
“I actually think Elly could be a great match for Mark,” he adds. “They both work in a position of authority and they both have responsibilities – whereas too much has already happened between Mark and Paige. I think they might have run their race in terms of a future together.”
While Scott is sceptical about a future between Mark and Paige, he is enjoying filming scenes with Paige’s baby son Gabe ahead of the birth of his own child.
“I’ve done a couple of scenes where I’ve had the pram and bassinet, and I do find myself thinking, ‘Would I go for this type of model or style?’” chuckles the star, whose fiancée Bianka Voigt is due to give birth to their first child later this year.
“I’ve never thought like that before!”
