THE VIC LADIES’ NIGHT DOESN’T END WELL…
Things remain tense at the Vic this week, as Mick and Linda still feel distant following recent events. His answer is to host one of Linda’s favourite things – a ladies’ night in the bar. But with Fi and Linda at loggerheads over the running of the pub, and Shirley sticking her oar in, the night doesn’t go to plan – and there’s a big shock in store for Linda…
As Fi and Linda continue to lock horns over the pub, Linda finally thinks she’s made her point over Fi’s unwelcome advice, and it seems the pair could find a way to work with each other. Well, that’s until Shirley causes a scene with some customers! When Phil leaps to Shirley’s defence, the punters are forced to go, which leaves Fi far from impressed as she watches her takings walk straight out of the door.
The trouble in the pub doesn’t ease tensions between Mick and Linda. Things are still not right between the couple following Mick’s confession that he and former daughterin-law Whitney shared a kiss. But despite Mick doing all he can to make things up to her, it seems Linda isn’t quite ready to forgive him for what went on.
“Mick’s confession has just shattered Linda’s faith in him,” explains our Walford spy. “Of course, she desperately wants to forgive him – he is the love of her life – but it might take time for her to get past this, no matter how much Mick tries.”

the Queen Vic ladies’ night, even taking over hosting duties from Johnny. But as he dons a sparkly jacket and does his best to make sure that it’s the kind of night he knows Linda loves, there’s one thing that he hasn’t counted on.
“It’s all going brilliantly and everyone is having a great time,” says our insider. “But then something happens that sees the whole thing come to a juddering halt for Linda. As far as she’s concerned, from that minute on it’s over – and that’s not just when it comes to the ladies’ night…”
