After a long eight months away from the Square, Linda was ready to come home for good. However, there was carnage at the Queen Vic when Mick confessed he’d fallen for Whitney in her absence… What a performance from Kellie Bright [Linda]! She’s a total powerhouse, and as sad as it was watching Linda deal with her heartbreak, it was brilliant to see her bring a bit of fire back to the Carters. I’m so happy she’s home! Shelley, Coventry
I was moved watching Linda deal with Mick’s confession, and I think she was fair in her angry yet agonised reaction. I’m glad she threw Whitney and Mick out, because they deserve to feel bad, but I hope she reunites with her husband one day. They are a sweet pair. Manisa, Harrow
I was cheering Linda on when she booted Whitney’s stuff down the stairs. She really did seem to be trying to take L’s place, and she even had Linda’s jacket in her closet – priceless! Kirk Linda didn’t even bother acknowledging everything poor Mick has had to handle without her! Cheating isn’t right – but leaving your man when he desperately needs you doesn’t make you a good wife.
