Robert’s poison plot exposed?
LAWRENCE SEEKS PROFESSIONAL HELP…
There’s big trouble for Robert this week, as a doctor finally sees ailing Lawrence.
For the past few weeks, wicked Robert has been drugging his former father-inlaw with sleeping pills to keep him weak and disconnected from Home Farm business. But Robert’s plot to stage a coup from within while pretending to help out the beleaguered Whites could be about to be rumbled!
So far, he’s managed to convince Rebecca not to take her father to see a doctor. Instead, he’s tried to plant suspicions in her mind that what’s happening is down to Lawrence being depressed about Ronnie leaving him, and drinking to forget.
However, when nurse Emma spies Lawrence falling asleep at the café, she advises Rebecca to get him checked out ASAP. Thankful that her fears have been validated by a professional, Rebecca takes the initiative and calls in the doctor.
After Robert hears what’s happened, he’s horrified. He’s so close to seizing control of Home Farm – but if the doctor realises that Lawrence has a high dose of sleeping pills in his blood, the game will be up. And sure enough, Lawrence is asked to give blood and the sample is sent off to the lab for testing!
Is Robert set to be revealed as an evil poisoner who has declared war on his unborn baby’s grandfather, or will he get away with it once again?
