Michelle: drugs raid at the Bistro!
MICHELLE IS IN BIG TROUBLE…
Horrified Michelle finds herself in possession of class A drugs this week, as the police turn up to search the Bistro.
She can’t believe it when she opens the first aid box to discover a bag of illegal pills, and realises that someone is trying to set up her boyfriend Robert. It’s just the latest shock in the nightmare campaign against the couple, which Michelle still thinks is down to Robert’s drug-dealer former mate Rich. However, the truth is that it’s her ex Will who is trying to wreck their lives (see p40) – and he’s put Michelle right in the firing line…
“Zeedan cuts his finger, so Michelle opens the first aid kit in the Bistro kitchen, and there’s a bag of pills in there!” shares Kym Marsh, who plays her. “She immediately assumes they’ve come from Rich, but while she’s deciding what to do with them, the police burst in. Michelle is standing in the kitchen, holding these drugs!”
She remains oblivious to the fact that Will is the sinister stalker who’s been making her life hell for weeks – since he’s on a mission to split up her and Robert so he can win back Michelle. After everything they’ve been through courtesy of Rich, the embattled couple still believe he’s the one who’s targeting them. So, Michelle is gunning for Rich – and once the bust dust has settled, she storms round to his house to have it out. However, Robert decides that the violent dealer might actually be innocent…
“There’s an argument between Robert and Rich, and Rich says, ‘Why would I plant coke behind the bar?’, when Robert knows it was actually pills in the kitchen,” explains Kym.
“So while Michelle is still dubious, Robert says he doesn’t think this is Rich’s style. What he does reckon is that someone is out to get him, and he’s worried that Michelle isn’t safe.”
After this latest ordeal, Robert comes up with a plan to protect his vulnerable girlfriend – but it’s the sort of arrangement that could give Will the wrong idea.
“Robert insists that he and Michelle tell everyone they’ve split up,” reveals Kym. “He reckons it will mean Michelle is safe from whoever is messing with them, and Robert won’t have to worry about her getting caught up in it all. So that’s what she does.”
As Michelle spreads the lie to throw Robert’s tormentor off the scent, will her twisted ex start to think his plot to win her back is working? Or are Michelle and Robert inadvertently putting themselves in even greater danger?
