A CHAT WITH JACK PROMPTS THE QUEEN VIC LANDLADY TO TELL ALL…

Following the blast, Linda drops a huge bombshell of her own this week – after she finally admits what she’s been hiding since she returned home to Albert Square.

The secret comes tumbling out during a heart-to-heart with one of Mick’s best mates, Jack. But as Linda confesses the truth, what will it mean for the future of her marriage to Mick?

“We know Linda was away from the Square for a lot longer than she needed to be,” muses our Walford snitch. “She was meant to be looking after her mum, but there was clearly more to it. At one stage, it seemed she was ready to tell Mick everything, but then of course he made his own admission about snogging Whitney! Linda was too furious to fess up about her own sins – so how does it compare to Mick’s mistake?”

As the week begins, Linda clashes with Fi – forcing her to confide in unlikely confidante Whitney. Whit is quick to remind Linda that she’s the only woman who Mick loves, and the touching moment means the ice begins to thaw between the pair. Is this why Linda decides it’s time to hang out her own dirty washing?

“It’s an important milestone, this little chat between Linda and Whitney – but it’s Jack who Linda chooses to really open up to in the end,” shares our insider. “The whole of Walford is suffering a terrible day, so perhaps Linda realises that life is too short to keep secrets…”
