Scott’s big secret looks set to be revealed this week, as he comes face to face with his biological mum Maggie at Damon’s surprise birthday party.
For weeks Scott has been getting closer to Damon, but has been too scared to tell him that he’s actually his brother. So when Maggie turns up at Damon’s party unannounced, will she tell the birthday boy exactly who Scott is?
“This is the moment Scott has been dreading – having his mum and Damon in the same room!” gasps Ross Adams, who plays him. “He doesn’t know how to navigate this situation at all, because a birthday party isn’t the time or place for such huge secrets to be revealed. The question is: will the truth come out?”
Following the rejection from his mum, Scott was stunned to find out that he had a halfbrother, and couldn’t resist finding out more about him. He was pleasantly surprised after he met Damon and realised what a lovely guy he is – yet while they’ve become good pals, Scott hasn’t yet found the courage to reveal his identity.
“He’s been desperate to tell Damon,” reckons Ross. “But
mum, his brother and his brother’s best mate all going out for a cosy lunch together is a real slap in the face. It’s feels like just another rejection.”
However, while he’s not on the invite list for lunch, Scott is determined to make Damon’s birthday a special one, and arranges a surprise party for him. He has no idea while cooking up the scheme that Maggie will somehow work her way on to the guest list!
“Scott doesn’t think for a moment that Maggie will show up,” reveals Ross. “He would have to prepare himself for something like that. He genuinely just wants to throw Damon an amazing party – but this is
Hollyoaks, and something always goes wrong…”
So, as Scott and Maggie eyeball each other across the bar, is Damon about to get a birthday present he’ll never forget?
