I’m loving the feud between Charity and Debbie in Emmerdale.

Their rows are well-written with a touch of humour, showing that even though mother and daughter are bickering, there’s still love there. I hope this storyline develops, and that Emma Atkins [Charity] and Charley Webb [Debbie] have more chances to bounce off each other. Debbi, Spondon Debbie having Charity ejected for ‘soliciting’ was a stroke of genius! Blimey, Sherlock has nothing on Jane Beale. All she needed was the initial on Steven’s phone, a few ill-spoken words from Fi, and she’d cracked Max’s entire scam in one hit! Daphne

Poor Max. Jane’s the one who got him sent to jail, and now she’s the one about to ruin the revenge plan he’s spent months setting in motion! No wonder he wants to see her dead – he hasn’t had much luck while she’s been around. Janet, Milton Keynes

Well done to clever Jane for sussing Max out, but why on earth did she show her hand straight away? It would have been far more sensible for her to share her findings with others before jumping the gun. She should have told Ian while he was on the phone! Alan

How stupid can Steven be? While Jane is offering him a chance to be honest with his family, Max is the one who’s made his situation 10 times worse – yet he still follows Max’s advice! What a shame he didn’t have the bottle to finally stand up to him. Aaron, Newcastle
