Jim is a man of many talents…

Jim is a talented artist – and he’s not the only enthusiast on the cobbles. Connor Mcintyre, aka Phelan, is also known for his art.

“His art is very deep,” explains Jim. “I’m quite light, but Connor goes into the depths. He came up and said, ‘We should have an art talk’, and

I said, ‘Yeah. It’s always best over a light ale’!”

However, Jim is serious about his work, and has been preparing for his latest exhibition in London, which is running until 22 September. “I’ve got a big show at the Grosvenor Gallery in Mayfair,” he tells us. “So I’m getting ready for that. Mind you, being in Corrie drains your mind of all other thoughts. Even now, I’m like, ‘I need to be learning lines’!”
