Debbie meets Tom again!

CAN SUAVE TOM TEMPT HER AWAY FROM ROSS?

- Kate White

Enigmatic newcomer Tom organises a date with Debbie this week – leaving her on-off lover Ross seething!

Having been taken by surprise by the handsome businessman, Debbie is intrigued to see what he wants from her as they meet for a spot of lunch. However, Tom isn’t the straightforward type, and the date leaves Debbie with many questions about him still unanswered. So does Ross have major competition?

“Debbie has always had a taste for the finer things in life, despite her humble origins,” reckons our Dales snoop. “She once got used to hanging out at casinos and sipping champers, though these days she enjoys a less showy existence. But when a man such as Tom comes along, her head is always turned.”

Debbie has to admit that Tom knows how to get her attention, and they spend quality time getting to know each other. However, as the date comes to an end, Debbie doesn’t know what to make of Tom, or what it is that he wants from her.

“There’s a spark and an attraction, but Tom doesn’t make the moves Debbie was expecting,” shares our spy. “She ends up being confused about where she stands, and it doesn’t help that Charity is soon winding her up about her rich new boyfriend. Worse still, Debbie knows that what she’s doing is hurting Ross – he’s pretty furious about this bloke.”

Debbie and Ross have been through so much together and nearly reconciled, though Debbie is reluctant to take another risk. Still, they can’t seem to keep away from each other, despite what Debbie’s head is telling her. Of course, Ross informs her exactly what he thinks of flash Tom and warns her not to trust him. He might be jealous that Debbie is slipping away, but Ross reckons he can spot a wrong’un when he sees one – and he’s convinced that there’s something seriously suspect about Tom.

With her head in a mess, it’s the right time for Debbie to take a break from all the drama and have a little holiday. After talking things over with Moira, she decides to allow herself some space – and to give Tom another chance on her return.

Is Debbie doing the best thing, or is Ross right about her mysterious new love interest?
