Liv is rushed to hospital
AARON IS FURIOUS AFTER HIS EX PUTS LIV’S LIFE IN DANGER…
Any hope of a Robron reconciliation is dead in the water this week, after Robert inadvertently drugs Aaron’s little sister, Liv!
Viewers know that sneaky Robert has been spiking Lawrence’s bottle of brandy with diazepam, as part of his wicked attempt to take control of Home Farm. So when angry Liv swipes the drink and necks it, she has more than just a hangover to worry about…
“Robert finds Liv passed out by the side of the road, and he’s really concerned,” explains Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert. “She’s just a young girl, and his actions were indirectly responsible for causing this. So he’s guilty – he feels awful.”
Prior to Liv’s shock collapse, the schoolgirl marches round to Home Farm to confront Robert, furious that he cheated on Aaron with Rebecca. She starts shouting accusations, leaving Rebecca mortified and Robert squirming as he realises that Liv is close to blowing his whole plot wide open.
“He’s stuck between the mother of his unborn child and the sister of his estranged husband,” shares Ryan. “Robert is definitely upset by it – but given what he’s trying to do, he’s worried that what Liv is saying will make Rebecca ask questions.
She’s incriminating him, and tactically it’s not the best thing to happen to him right now.”
When Robert denies her accusations and brands her a liar, Liv storms out – nicking the bottle of brandy on her way. She just wants to get drunk and forget her problems, and has no idea that the booze is spiked with drugs. So after Robert finds her collapsed and races her to hospital, he has a lot of explaining to do.
“Aaron is devastated that his sister is in such a serious way,” reveals Ryan. “But then he realises what has happened, because the doctor thanks Robert for telling them about the diazepam. Aaron puts two and two together – he knows that Robert had the same drug, so he knows that Robert is responsible for the critical condition his sister is in.”
We’re not surprised that Aaron is furious with his estranged partner – we would be too in his position! But then Aaron takes it one step further by warning Robert that he’d better hope Liv pulls through, or he’ll kill him!
“Robert has enough weighing on his conscience at this point – the guilt about Liv is eating him up,” admits Ryan. “But Aaron saying that to him
Robert feels awful – the guilt about Liv is eating him up!”
is like another stab in the heart.
The way things are between them now isn’t the way they’d like it to be.
Robert has given up all hope of them getting back together.”
And while he prays that Liv will wake up, Robert has another big problem to deal with when Lawrence returns to his GP for more blood tests! So if the results come back showing drugs in his system, will he realise what conniving Robert has been up to?
