The latest soap news Eastenders excitement – Ben is leaving while Masood is returning!

Sarah will receive tragic news…

-

We can’t quite believe it, but it seems Corrie bosses are lining up a shock exit for Gary Windass! After the former soldier returns to Ukraine later this year to continue his private security work, his loved ones will be given the terrible news that he has died in a fatal explosion…

“Gary’s family are devastated when they’re told he’s dead,” explains our cobbles insider. “His mum Anna and girlfriend Sarah are inconsolable, and everyone is desperate for more information from the foreign office about what happened.”

The nature of Gary’s job has been a huge worry to those closest to him for a number of weeks. His financial situation is so bad that he’s been travelling to and from the war-torn country, earning danger money to protect high-risk targets. However, the rumour is that his assignment will fail spectacularly while driving a diplomat, whose car is blown to smithereens.

“As Sarah and Anna push for more details, they’ll be told that no one in the doomed vehicle survived the blast,” reveals our mole. “They’re in for a miserable and tragic end to the year.”

Street bosses have refused to comment on whether the gossip is true, but the story would see Gary also leave behind his young son, Jake, not to mention the baby that Nicola is carrying following their recent one-night stand.

Mikey North and Nicola Thorp, who play the cheating pair, were spotted filming on location for episodes rumoured to be airing in the lead-up to Christmas. Could these scenes be some of the last we see of Gary? Will Nicola be forced to contemplate life as a single parent? And how will Sarah feel if she learns about her late fella’s love child? The questions are endless for what is shaping up to be a truly harrowing ordeal for all involved…
