Gina is up to mischief again this week, as she embarrasses her snobby sister Sally in her own front room!
The situation arises after a twist of fate sees Gina’s dreams of being with Dev become a reality. She’s made no secret of the fact she has the hots for the shopkeeper – and while Dev has laughed off her advances, this week the tension between them reaches boiling point.
With Gina enjoying her new role working for Dev, she heads over to see if he has any extra shifts. But when her medication falls out of her bag, panicked Gina plants a kiss on Dev to distract him from the pills – and things turn passionate. “What a match!” laughs our
Corrie insider. “Gina is great fun, and exactly the sort of lady to put a spring in Dev’s step. Understandably, she’s nervous about Dev discovering that she has bipolar, and wants to keep the truth from him. It comes as a surprise to be kissed by Gina, but Dev’s not complaining.”
In fact, the Alahan stud is pretty bowled over by Gina, and it doesn’t take them long to move their romance up a gear. An afternoon of fun at the Metcalfe house puts a smile on both Dev and Gina’s faces – though Sally certainly isn’t amused with the pair’s antics.

Fuming Sally gives Gina a stern talking-to about wrecking her campaign chances with her reckless actions, though Gina is at least keen to make it up.
