Courtney is up to no good

Paul’s fiancée makes a move on Leo…

- Sarah Ellis

You could almost hear jaws hitting the floor when Paul Robinson announced that he was engaged to Courtney – who’s younger than most of his kids! It’s no wonder his son Leo thinks there’s something off about their relationship – and actor Tim Kano tells us that his alter ego is determined to prove that the whole thing is a scam…

Why is Leo so wary of Paul and Courtney’s relationship?

He knows his dad is still pining for Terese, so he feels that with Paul announcing his engagement on the day of her wedding, there might be more to it than meets the eye! There’s also the age difference – Leo questions Courtney’s motives.

How does he get roped into helping Courtney with the Most Liveable Suburb judging?

Paul is initially going to help out, but he gets held up so Leo steps in. Surprisingly, a bond develops between Courtney and Leo – he sees a nicer, more vulnerable side to her, so it adds another layer to the confusion of the situation.

But the lines between them get blurred when Courtney asks Leo to stay the night! How does he react to that?

Leo is in shock and doesn’t like it at all – he pressures Courtney to come clean about what’s going on between her and his father. He wants to know if her feelings for Paul are genuine.

How far would Leo go to expose Courtney’s true intentions?

He’d go far enough, but he would never do anything to hurt Paul. He trusts that Paul would realise he is doing it to protect him.

It’s nice to see Paul and Leo finally getting along. How has that been for you to play?

Really nice. It’s lovely working with Stefan [Dennis, aka Paul], and I enjoy that dynamic of a father and son supporting each other – most times we’re playing conflict, so this has been a lovely change for both of us.
