Never have we been happier to forget a character! Joanie’s affair and then wedding to Zak Dingle was loathed by Dales viewers, but luckily sanity eventually prevailed. Zak was reunited with Lisa, and Joanie was jailed before later popping her clogs. And lovely actress Denise Black was able to go back to Corrie for a stint as Daniel’s mum Denise.
