Donna plays a trick on Robbie

ROBBIE AND DONNA GET READY TO DATE…

Romance looks set to blossom across the market stalls this week, when Donna asks Robbie out! In between chaperoning Bex’s disastrous driving lessons, Robbie is getting ready for a date with a mystery lady – which Donna finds highly amusing, and takes great pleasure in winding up her boss about it.

She’s laughing on the other side of her face, however, when Robbie’s evening plans are cancelled – prompting cheeky Donna to insist that Robbie can take her for a night out on the tiles instead. Could the unlikely pair turn out to be a match made in heaven?

Neither Robbie nor Donna have enjoyed a massively successful love life. Robbie thought he’d struck gold when he moved to Mumbai for a new life with his girlfriend Nita – where she later gave birth to his son, Sami. However, their relationship didn’t last long, and Robbie and Sami ended up relocating to Milton Keynes after the couple split.

Meanwhile, Donna enjoyed a brief festive fling with fellow market trader Shrimpy at the end of last year – but she was gutted when he swiftly went on to enjoy a drunken snog with Roxy. Sadly, eligible bachelors remain few and far between in Albert Square, meaning Donna’s remained a frustrated singleton ever since. So we can’t blame her for taking a chance on Robbie!

There’s more disappointment in store, though, when Robbie gets an unexpected second chance with his original date – leaving Donna to revert back to tormenting him with another of her cheeky pranks. But is she the woman for Robbie after all?
