Ash & Tori – together at last?
Will Ash and Tori ever get it on?
For weeks we’ve been willing Ash and Tori to get together – and this week we’ll be cheering at our TV screens as they finally kiss! But given that Tori’s been mad about the grease monkey for months, why does she do a runner right after they smooch?
“Ash and Tori are a classic case of opposites attract,” grins Penny Mcnamee, who plays the doctor. “They have different interests and different personalities, but they both want the same things out of life. They cherish family and are loyal to a fault – they both want children, and really care for each other. It’s a beautiful relationship built on trust and friendship.”
Although Ash is now single following his break-up with Kat, Tori is convinced that they’re just in the friend zone, so has decided to look elsewhere for romance. She’s pleased when she scores a date with cop
Colin – but after Ash also turns up at Salt on a date, Tori is raging!
“She’s shocked to see Ash out with a yummy mummy – and the green-eyed monster appears!” admits Penny. “Both Tori and Ash end up acting like lunatics. They try to make each other jealous by flirting and laughing with their respective dates – all the while keeping an eye on each other from across the room.”
As both dates end in disaster, Tori storms out with Ash hot on her heels – and after a furious row, Ash moves in for a kiss! Tori has wanted this for ages, so why does she push him away?
“Ash declares his feelings for Tori and pulls her in for a kiss,” Penny tells us. “She can’t help but go with it for a few seconds, then abruptly pulls away. She truly believes Ash is on the rebound, and she doesn’t want to get hurt. But the audience has fallen in love with the idea of Tori and Ash – and they’re waiting for them to get together…”
