Seb falls off his ladder

THIS COULD BE THE BEGINNING OF A NEW NIGHTMARE FOR ANNA…

- Kate White

Seb is left fighting for his life this week, following a shocking fall from the top of a ladder. But while it’s true the plunge could be down to the troubled teen feeling distracted by all the drama at home, doubts soon begin to emerge over whether it was as accidental as it seems…

The horrific incident comes while Seb faces a nightmare involving his mum Abi. He discovers her unconscious from a drug overdose, and after she’s rushed to the hospital, social services soon arrive to check on the family – having received a call.

Seb has been trying desperately to keep his family together for months now, and has been keen to keep the authorities away from home. So when social services decide to put his siblings into care, he’s convinced Anna was the one who called them, and vents his fury and pain at her.

“There’s a huge row in the street between Seb and Anna, before the accident happens,” says our Weatherfield insider. “He’s raging at her, blaming Anna for what’s happened to his brother and sister. It’s a horrible, heartbreaking ordeal for everyone – especially Anna, who’s tried so hard to help Seb and his family.”

Anguished Seb is later high up on a ladder, cleaning the windows of Todd and Adam’s office, when the dramatic fall occurs. His girlfriend Faye rushes to his side, as does Anna, and the

unconscious lad is taken to hospital in a bad way.

“Of course, it could easily have been an accident,” muses our mole. “But when the police learn of what’s happened, they certainly think it’s suspicious and look into it.”

Unfortunately for Anna, scheming Phelan gets wind of the police interest and soon forms a devilish plan. He’s already had a run-in with his nemesis after Anna became convinced that Seb’s low opinion of her was due to Phelan dripping poison in his ear – and now the villain sees his opportunity for revenge.

“Phelan sneaks into the solicitors’ office and plants evidence that would place Anna at the scene of the crime,” gasps our spy. “This, combined with the fact that her row with Seb was a very public one, could lead the police straight to her door…”

Has Phelan just managed to stitch up his arch-enemy for attempted murder?
