Lachlan to kill Lawrence?
THERE ARE TWO WOULD-BE MURDERERS AT HOME FARM…
While Robert remains fiercely determined to do the White clan damage this week, it turns out that he has a rival for the task – Lachlan!
Despite being the youngest member of the wealthy White family, Lachlan has already proved himself more than capable of devilment – particularly where his relatives are concerned. So is sinister Lachy about to beat Robert to the punch and kill grandad Lawrence himself? And if he does, is there a possibility that Robert could be next?
“Robert is ruthless enough to believe nothing will stand in the way of his war with the Whites,” claims our Emmerdale spy. “But he’s underestimating just how much Lachlan resents his family. He blames them for everything that’s gone wrong in his life, and has harboured resentment against them since he served time for shooting Lawrence. And now, it seems, that bubbling rage could be on the verge of boiling over!”
Having drugged Lawrence for weeks, it’s business as usual for Robert as he continues to manipulate his former father-in-law – convinced that he’s closer than ever to robbing Lawrence of his lucrative business. When Lachlan walks in on the pair as they’re about to kiss, Lawrence sends his grandson packing – and Robert couldn’t be more delighted by the snub.
But while addled Lawrence insists it’s time that he and Robert come clean about their ‘relationship’, that’s not in Robert’s twisted interests – so he responds by drugging Lawrence unconscious again. He’s passed out on the couch when Lachlan returns later – and a particularly disturbing scene plays out…
“Lachlan looms over his grandfather, visibly disgusted by the state he’s in,” sighs our insider. “With Lawrence unconscious, he’s at Lachy’s mercy – the very last place he needs to be! Particularly when
“It could be time for Robert to take Lachy seriously…”
Lachlan explains that he plans to kill him – oblivious that Robert is listening in.”
After Robert informs Lachlan that he has heard everything, the lad insists he’d never actually carry out the deed. But can anyone believe a word that Lachlan says? It doesn’t look that way, as we later see Lachy fire a gun at a pumpkin emblazoned with Robert’s face!
“It could be time for Robert to take Lachlan a bit more seriously, if he knows what’s good for him,” mutters our sneak. “That lad has a chip on his shoulder the size of Australia – and as the man who betrayed his mother with another man, Lachy has just as much reason to hate Robert as the rest of his fractured family.”
So now that Robert knows just how much Lachlan despises his grandfather, might Lachy choose to use him for some proper target practice – before moving on to Lawrence?
