Milo plots to ruin Cindy’s big day
DETERMINED MILO PLOTS TO STOP CINDY AND DIRK’S BIG DAY GOING AHEAD…
The Cunninghams are full of excitement this week, as Dirk and Cindy get ready to walk down the aisle – but vengeful Milo is determined to do whatever it takes to ruin their special day!
In recent weeks the relationship between Dirk and Milo has deteriorated, with the Cunninghams’ obsessive lodger convinced that Cindy’s husband-to-be is a danger to her and the rest of the clan. This week, the fellas come to blows after Milo overhears a conversation indicating that his time in the family home may be about to come to an end. And with a cunning plan in mind, the computer whizz sets about tearing apart
Cindy and Dirk’s relationship before they say “I do”…
“Milo is part of the family as far as Cindy’s concerned,” explains actress Steph Waring, who plays Cindy. “She doesn’t have any suspicions about his behaviour or anything like that. I think she’s oblivious to how Dirk feels about him hanging around.”
While Cindy, Mandy and Holly head out for the hen do, Milo sets up Dirk’s stag as his stage of destruction, and pays off a stripper to help him out.
After Dirk and the stripper end up in the Emporium alone, Milo encourages Holly to check out the situation – only for Cindy’s horrified daughter to walk in on the lady in question kissing her stepdad! This leaves Holly in quite the predicament, as she considers telling her mum what she’s seen.
“Obviously it would be a blow, but at the end of the day I think Cindy trusts Dirk,” says Steph. “It’s just a stag do, and I don’t think it’s a deal-breaker. Dirk’s the love of her life – she can’t wait to marry him!”
As the big day draws closer, Milo has one more trick up his sleeve.
But once he decides to open up this can of worms, he panics that his vendetta has got totally out of hand! “Things take a huge turn for the worse, and Cindy is put in a situation where she has a big choice to make,” sighs Steph. “Milo takes his plan very far to make it look like Dirk has done something wrong, and maybe stands a chance of stopping the wedding from taking place!”
Although viewers will have to tune in to find out whether Dirk and Cindy become man and wife, Steph is hoping this will be the last time she plays bride for a long while. This is Cindy’s sixth wedding after all!
“When I found out she was getting hitched again I was like, ‘What, again!’” laughs the star. “It’s great when the finished article is shown on
TV, but it’s hard work filming a wedding. There are lots of characters involved, lots of time spent in hair and makeup, as well as dressing the sets. It’s a big shoot, and the days are long and tiring! They’re also a lot of fun, though, as you get a good mix of people to work with!”
