Hamish found dead! Whodunnit?
NO ONE IS ABOVE SUSPICION AFTER HAMISH’S BODY IS DISCOVERED…
The Grim Reaper strikes Erinsborough this week – as Hamish is found dead in the hot tub at the Canning house!
Tyler’s dad has been the spider at the centre of a tangled web ever since he pitched up just after Russell Brennan’s death. No one has been able to fathom his agenda – but just as Tyler’s worried siblings Aaron and Mark piece together the shadowy truth, Hamish is discovered face-down in the hot tub. Has someone we know and love turned killer?
“Tyler was slow to believe any of his brothers’ misgivings about Hamish,” shares Travis Burns, who plays the stunned lad. “But a few cracks have started to appear in the story – and when Tyler looks in Hamish’s briefcase and finds Russell’s will and missing ace of spades card, it’s like a stake to the heart.”
The briefcase makes a mysterious appearance on Tyler’s doorstep at the same time as
CCTV footage reveals that Hamish was at the hospital in Port Lincoln the night that Russell died. Meanwhile,
Aaron tracks down Hamish’s mystery woman Ellisa in Paris, and she has quite the story to tell. Armed with this evidence, Tyler confronts Hamish – who admits that his goal all along has been to get his hands on the boat Russell left his kids.
“Tyler feels incredibly betrayed,” sighs Travis. “He thought he’d finally found the father he never had, but no. He and Hamish start arguing, and things get heated…”
The very next morning, Hamish’s body is found in the hot tub. As Tyler and Mark digest the stunning news, the police open a murder investigation and a host of Erinsborough locals fall under suspicion. There’s betrayed Tyler and his protective brother Mark, Hamish’s jilted lover Sheila and her son Gary – each and every one of them with a motive. And as Sheila and Gary conspire to hide
something from the police, it comes to light that Tyler was the last person to see Hamish alive and well.
“He’s in the spotlight because he had the most obvious motive,” explains Travis. “Part of me wouldn’t be surprised if Tyler did it because he can be impulsive, and his upbringing with Russell was

quite violent. If he was pushed to the brink, this could be history repeating itself…”
As stunned Aaron races home from Paris, could he return to the news that his own brother is under arrest for murder?
