…as Fi reunites with Max

SHE WANTS HIM BACK…

- Laura-jayne Tyler

As Willmott-brown puts the next phase of his plot into action, his daughter Fi plans to rekindle her romance with Max.

The couple fell out after she double-crossed her secret boyfriend and stole confidential council information from Carmel’s house, when Max had refused to do any more of Willmott-brown’s dirty work.

So as Fi comes crawling back this week, has she decided to reject her father, too? Or is she just using her feminine charms in order to get Max back onside?

“Some of the performances that Fi has put on so far have been Oscar-worthy, and Max should be wary of her,” warns our Square source. “She clearly wants to impress Willmott-brown, otherwise she wouldn’t have stabbed Max in the back so callously.

“That being said, you do get the sense that Fi cares for Max,” adds our spy. “She was thrilled when he stood up to Willmott-brown over their relationship, as if part of her wishes they could run off and leave all this mess behind!”

One of the benefits of their union for Max was that he had Fi to lean on when his revenge scheme got tough. But this week he is on his own, and forced to confront a situation that risks exposing his role in Steven’s death.

IAN’S SHOCK

When Abi confesses to

Ian about her pregnancy, he finally discovers that Steven was cheating on Lauren with her sister. However, when

Ian drops the bombshell on Max, is his shocked reaction born out of concern for his daughters? Or is he worried that Abi knows he was blackmailing Steven? Either way, Max is up to his neck in bother as he continues to cover his tracks – and when he finds out that Carmel has been suspended over the leaked files that Fi nabbed from her house, Max carries on shunning his lover.

Meanwhile, Fi is put out after Willmott-brown questions her capabilities – leaving her more determined than ever to prove a point to her father.

“Fi clearly has some major daddy issues,” suggests our mole. “There is still so much that we don’t know about Willmott-brown and the relationship that he has with his kids – but the fact they’re willing to aid his convoluted scheme proves that he has them in his power.”

MAX’S MOVE

After Max requests to meet with Fi, she says sorry for her actions and promises to help with the Carmel situation. In return, Max offers Fi tips on how she can ease the tension at the Vic with the Carters – and with that, the pair seal their reunion with a kiss.

However, as Fi goes to see her father, will it transpire that she was playing Max all along? Or is she now secretly plotting against her own dad?
