“It’s very flattering to be called sexy!”
Soaps wouldn’t be half as much fun to watch without their steamy love scenes – and the recipients of this year’s Sexiest Male and Female trophies have had plenty of those between them! Eastenders star Davood has set screens alight with his character Kush’s romance with Denise, while the Dales’ Natalie J Robb has had so much on-screen action this year that Moira didn’t know who the father of her baby was! It’s no wonder our readers voted for this duo as their hot favourites…
“I’m chuffed to win this Award, I’m not going to lie!” grins Natalie. “I’m 43 in a few weeks, and I’ve won Sexiest Female! My mum will be really happy, too – she’s been saying to me for ages, ‘I don’t understand why you’re not winning awards!’. So this is great. I might just give it another little polish!”
“I’m so flattered – what an achievement!” chips in Davood. “I’ve made a space for the trophy on a shelf in my room, and I’ll be able to see it every morning when I wake up!”
Of course, part of Davood’s success may be down to the fact that he’s been lighting up the Strictly dance floor with his sexy routines – and has performed many numbers with his impressive six-pack on display!
“I think if you’re going to do Strictly, you have to be prepared to get spray-tanned and wear the craziest things you’ve ever worn in your life!” he chuckles. “I won’t get the opportunity to do this again, so I might as well make the most of it. My aim is just to come away from it smiling every week.”
Meanwhile, Natalie has spent most of her time embroiled in dramatic scenes with barely any make-up on! But that just makes this win even sweeter for the star.

Bad Girl’!” she giggles. “Hopefully viewers see Moira as a ‘real’ woman – all I wear on screen, make-up wise, is some foundation and mascara. Maybe they’ll let me wear more when she’s a little less depressed…”
