Doherty return to their small but extremely popular café at the end of Southend Pier tonight, for a fifth series of Friday foodie fun.

As ever, their venue turns out to be a bit of a draw for celebs (imagine that!) – and the first star guest through the door this week is actor and writer Simon Pegg, whose list of credits in Doctor Who, Star Trek and Star Wars

has Jimmy positively agog with geeky admiration.

On the food front, Jamie will be busy whipping up a delicious-looking (if possibly artery-clogging) Provençale bake, and Jimmy comes up with a new DIY way of preparing Korean barbecue. Meanwhile, their Food Fight kicks off with an effort to increase free-range duck farming within the UK.
