Best Daytime Soap is always a closely fought battle – so the cast of Neighbours are delighted to have claimed the prestigious gong for the sixth time running.

“It’s particularly nice to win the Award this year, because we recently signed on with Channel 5 to air in the UK for another five years,” explains Stefan Dennis, who plays Paul. “It’s really comforting to know that the show is still being watched and loved by the audience in Britain.”

Although none of the cast were able to attend our Awards ceremony, we’re assured that there will be a big party on set to celebrate this win.
