Ashley I think they both understand how dangerous this is when you have a family and kids. Plus

Mandy and Nancy are best mates, and so are Darren and Luke – so the repercussions of this could be really bad.

Mandy and Darren used to date – so did the spark just never go out between them?

Sarah They do have that history.

They were teenagers at the time, but there is always going to be something. They know each other and have seen each other go through good and bad, so hopefully the audience will buy into that.

Ashley It’s not just sex or an instinctual thing – it’s been building up for months.

Sarah, can you sympathise with Mandy given what Luke has done?

Sarah She is really annoyed with him, and I think she has grounds to be. Luke could have easily told her the truth, and post-wedding she points out that she herself has a child by someone else and has been married before. Luke knows that, so how difficult would it have been for him to tell her that information?

What was it like filming the scene where Mandy smashed up the wedding venue?

Sarah So much fun – and we did it in one take! We filmed it in chronological order after the big scene with Gary, which you don’t always get to do. I was already psyched up and upset in the moment, so it was great to do!
