“This is typical Carla – she’s confronted with her own mortality, but still finds time to cause a scandal,” laughs our cobbles informant. “The Connors are desperate to help her, and both Aidan and Kate go to be tested to see if they are a match. It’s hard for Carla to sit and wait, so she heads over to find out how Daniel is doing at winning back Sinead. When he reveals it’s all over, Carla decides to cheer them both up!”
Daniel can’t believe it as Carla pulls him in for a kiss, and he’s smitten with his sexy older woman. Later, they are snogging on the doorstep when stunned Sinead spots them. She was just coming over to tell Daniel that she wants them to try again, but turns around and walks back out of his life. And Sinead is not the only one horrified by the new pairing…
Peter has already seen
Carla heading over to
Daniel’s flat, but never imagined there was anything naughty going on. So, after Beth heads into the Rovers to give Carla and Daniel a piece of her mind over hurting Sinead, Peter can’t believe his ears. He’s soon ranting at Carla for taking up with a younger man – until she reminds him that their marriage ended thanks to him bedding Tina Mcintyre! Why is Peter so bothered?
“Toyah should be worried about Peter’s reaction, because it’s obvious he’s as jealous as hell,” says our spy. “The spark between Carla and Peter has never gone, no matter how much they try to convince the world otherwise. The fact she’s got involved with his younger brother really bothers Peter. He can’t bear the fact Daniel and Carla are hooking up.”
So, is Carla playing with fire by rubbing Peter’s nose in it as she embarks on a romance with his half-brother?
