Robbo tries to rescue Kat!
CAN ROBBO SAVE KAT FROM HIT MAN NOVAK?
Pregnant Kat fears she’s done for this week, after paid killer Novak kidnaps her – and tries to crush her to a pulp!
The evil hit man has been hired to stop copper Kat from testifying against a bunch of corrupt fellow officers, and he’s determined to do the job properly. But with Kat’s boyfriend Robbo on a mission to save her, nasty Novak doesn’t stand a chance…
“The race is on to get to Kat in time,” exclaims Jake Ryan, who plays her heroic fella. “Robbo recalls that he found a business card for a wrecker’s yard in Novak’s car, so he goes with his instincts and heads there. It’s a gamble, but he turns out to be spot on.”
Once on site, Robbo scales the fence into the yard and sets about locating his missing girlfriend. And he’s horrified to spot Novak at the controls of a crusher – which is about to destroy a car in which Kat has been locked!
“It’s life-and-death for Kat – and Robbo gets to Novak with just seconds to spare,” Jake tells us. “He pulls Novak from this enormous machine, knocks him out and takes his gun. He’s just in time to stop Kat from being crushed alive!”
Robbo may have saved the day, but his work isn’t done yet. While his pregnant girlfriend is at the hospital getting checked over, Robbo seeks out Novak a second time – and makes sure that he can never hurt Kat again.
“Robbo shoots Novak in the stomach!” reveals Jake. “But whether it’s an accident, self-defence or cold-blooded murder, I can’t give away…”
With Novak dead, Robbo now has to try to cover up his
crime, not to mention his shady past! All in all, it’s not a great week for Robbo – but Jake had a blast filming the nail-biting episodes.
“The scenes at the yard were probably my favourites to date,” he grins. “I loved all the action and drama in those episodes. Working with Mirko Grillini [Novak] was great too, as he’s a gentleman and a professional. We spent a lot of hours rehearsing the scenes and fight on the weekends – and I think the work paid off, as the footage looks great!”
