Aaron helps Robert with Seb
AS ROBERT AND AARON GROW CLOSER AGAIN, IS ALEX OUT IN THE COLD?
The spark between Robert and Aaron is reignited this week – as the former couple almost end up in a clinch.
Aaron is there to support his struggling ex as he tries to be a better father to baby Seb, and their closeness soon brings old feelings flooding back. That’s bad news for Aaron’s boyfriend Alex, who’s fallen head over heels for the conflicted fella. But after Aaron has tried so hard to put the nightmare relationship behind him, will he be tempted to go back to Robert?
“Poor Alex should know by now – there are three people in that relationship!” chuckles our Dales gossip. “It doesn’t matter how much anger or hatred Aaron felt for Robert, theirs is an unbreakable bond. That love is still there. Aaron believed he’d never be able to accept Seb and forgive Robert for fathering this child, but time heals all wounds.”
Robert’s world has been turned upside down following the horrific crash that killed Lawrence and Chrissie, and left Rebecca in a coma. He’s had to step up and be a fulltime father, and that’s been incredibly difficult. It’s Aaron in whom Robert confides as he navigates fatherhood and the challenge of being the best dad he can be to his little boy, so when Robert needs a babysitter, Aaron offers his services – and lies to Alex about why he can’t spend the day with him.

together, but Aaron enjoys hanging out with the baby and starts to bond with him. Upon Robert’s return, he and Aaron share a touching moment as they discuss their day and tuck Seb in for a nap – however, little does Aaron know that Alex has got home early and realised he was ditched for Robert.
“For a while it looked like Aaron was truly ready to leave Robert in the past, but now he’s very much in the present again,” muses our spy. “Alex is understandably hurt, but he’s fighting a losing battle. Robert and Aaron’s connection won’t allow either to move on.”
That’s evident the next day, as Aaron cooks a romantic meal for Valentine’s Day, and Robert offers to help. The pair have fun as they mess about – and things get serious when they gaze into each other’s eyes, and it seems they may kiss. Will Aaron betray Alex?
