Casualty Elle fears for her son
ELLE IS SERIOUSLY WORRIED ABOUT HER SON’S FUTURE…
Blake’s future hangs in the balance this week, as he appears in court charged with GBH – but things are about to get a lot worse!
While Blake sits down for his hearing with his mum and dad by his side, Elle gets a call Elle and Jacob treated Miles when he first came to the ED from work to say that Miles – the lad Blake assaulted – has returned to the ED. And he’s in a bad way…
“Elle is already terrified of losing her son, so this new setback hits her like a ton of bricks,” sighs our Casualty spy. “She’s so worried about how this could affect Blake’s case that she leaves in the middle of his hearing, and rushes back to the ED. She wants to assess Miles’ condition and how it could impact Blake’s chances of freedom.”
When she arrives at the hospital, Elle is dismayed to discover that she’s not allowed anywhere near Miles, given her relationship with Blake – and Miles’ mum makes it clear that she holds Elle’s son totally responsible for Blake’s relapse! Despite being frozen out of the teen’s treatment, Elle also soon learns that his condition is so serious that he needs to go for surgery immediately.
Meanwhile, Jacob is holding the fort back in court with their son. But Blake starts to panic after Elle is called as his character reference, and there’s still no sign of her! With the clock ticking and things looking bleak, Blake begs his dad to step into the breach. Will Jacob agree to tell the court what a decent lad his son really is?

Back at the hospital, Miles heads into the operating theatre to stem the bleeding on his brain. All Elle can do is watch on anxiously and hope he pulls through – but what will it mean for Blake if he doesn’t?
“Of course, grievous bodily harm is a serious crime,” our insider tells us. “If Miles doesn’t make it through surgery, though, Blake will be looking at a manslaughter charge instead! And that will definitely come with a hefty jail sentence attached.”
It’s a tense time for
Elle, as both Miles and Blake’s futures hang in the balance. Blake has pleaded guilty to his crime and shown great remorse – but will all that count for nothing if Miles passes away from his injuries?
