Yes, in a shocking twist (predicted by Inside Soap three weeks ago – just sayin’), it turned out that Sharon had half-inched the heist money from Ben. And everyone was delighted to hear it…

No show goes from good to bad and back again as often as Eastenders, but there’s always one consistent thing you can rely on – the brilliance of Sharon Watts (as I’ll always call her)! Sharon having the money has been the one positive thing to come out of this whole robbery storyline.

It felt like old times watching Sharon and Mel have their stand-off about the stolen money. It reminded me of the glory days of Phil vs Steve Owen. What a shame that Steve Owen was killed off all those years ago. I’d give anything for him to suddenly walk into the middle of the action one Monday night!

I shouted at the telly when that Ciara called Sharon a “lowrent housewife”. How dare she?! This is Queen Sharon of Walford she’s bitching up. I hope Sharon puts that Ciara right back in her box and keeps every penny of the money!

Speaking of the money, one aspect of this storyline is causing some confusion…

I don’t understand why Ben hasn’t come back. If he hasn’t got all the money, what is he living on? And if everyone knows he hasn’t got all the money, then why does he have to stay in hiding?
