Soap, Corrie is planning an epic showdown between Eileen and Phelan, which will see her finally learn the truth about his monstrous killing spree. However, the latest gossip is that the pair will become locked in a fight to the death – with Eileen sending her horrid hubby tumbling into the sea!
“It’s a moment that viewers won’t want to miss,” enthuses our Weatherfield spy. “With many residents on the Street now working against Phelan – including his own daughter, Nicola – all he has left is Eileen. What sweet justice it will be if she’s the one to finally put him down!”
According to a tabloid newspaper, Phelan’s murderous ways will be revealed while he and Eileen are away on a mini-break. The bodies of Andy Carver and Vinny Ashford are set to be found at the Mill building site, prompting Liz to call Eileen and tell her everything.
However, the situation will take a very dark turn for Eileen as she and Phelan are out walking – and as the badboy builder looks set to add his wife to his list of victims, she sidesteps his violent attack and he falls off the cliff! But will it be sink or swim for slippery Phelan? Street bosses are keeping tight-lipped about whether the rumours are true, but stars Connor Mcintyre and Sue Cleaver were spotted filming in the coastal town of Whitehaven in Cumbria. Our sneaky snaps show the pair aboard a boat – and who can say what’s in foul Phelan’s mind? Despite the tense scenes, however, star Connor was all smiles as he took time out for countless fans who stopped for a selfie.
“He plays an evil man, but Connor is one of the nicest stars in soap,” confirms our spy. Tune in for Eileen and Phelan’s holiday from hell next month.
